Dosa Place, formerly known as Palace of Dosas, is a family-owned restaurant proudly serving Buffalo, New York since 2007. Built on tradition, passion, and authenticity, our restaurant has become a local destination for South Indian vegetarian cuisine.

Our founder and head chef, Raj—also known as Uduppi Raj—brings over 40 years of experience in the South Indian food industry. While living in New York City, he trained under a renowned chef from Chennai, refining the techniques and flavors that define our menu today.

After moving to Buffalo, Raj opened Palace of Dosas, making history as the first pure vegetarian South Indian restaurant in Western New York. Today, Dosa Place continues that legacy, serving fresh, authentic dishes rooted in tradition and made with care.
